This work examines the gap between lived experience and the ways in which it is described and represented.

The artist records a single day of her own life as if it were observed and documented by a third person. Combined with the use of text within the video, the recorded self is rendered as if it were a character within a constructed narrative.

The work questions what constitutes the self and whether it can be understood as a coherent and stable entity.

この作品は、現実に生きている「私」としての経験と、それが記述されたときの齟齬を扱っている。

作者は自身のある一日を、第三者によって観察・記録されているかのような形式で撮影した。映像中のテキストの効果も相まって、記録された自己は架空の物語の登場人物のように描かれる。

本作は、社会の中で客観的に自己を捉えたとき、それは一貫した存在と言い得るのかを問いかける。
