This work is positioned within a transitional phase in which the artist’s use of media shifts toward photography and moving images.

Photographs taken in everyday life are printed onto tracing paper and assembled into a collage to form a flat composition.

While images recorded by a camera are arranged in a loose chronological order, memory does not follow such a structure. Instead, it is recalled non-linearly, as fragmented images and impressions.

Through the technique of collage, the work attempts to express a state of memory that is “unstructured” and “fragmented.”

この作品は、作家が扱うメディアが写真や映像へと移行していく過程に位置づけられるものである。

日常の中で撮影された写真をトレーシングペーパーに出力し、それらをコラージュとして構成することで平面作品を形成している。

カメラによって記録された画像は緩やかな時系列で並ぶが、記憶はそのような構造には従わない。むしろ、断片的なイメージや印象として非線形に想起される。

本作は、コラージュという技法を通して、「構造化されていない」そして「断片的である」記憶の状態を表現しようとしている。
